VMware Enterprise Admin / VCDX Prep Brown Bags

by bunchc on January 28, 2010

Some folks in the community have expressed an interest in expanding my quazi regular VCP brown bags into some additional brown bags to support those seeking their VCDX, starting with the Enterprise Admin exam. This post then, is to serve two functions:

1) Is there interest? – Basically, If I built it, would y’all come?

2) Content – What specific areas would you like to see covered?

Feel free to drop a line in the comments or on twitter with your answers to the above, and anything else you may want to add. (I’m @cody_bunch) on Twitter. And thanks again for helping!

I think that the first BrownBag could be on CLI command

    Count me in!! :)

I think this is a great idea and I'm totally on board. It will be kinda weird going back to VI3.5 from vSphere, but I think we'll be able to manage. I read a recent post from Scott Vessey that the VCDX4 is coming. Would it make sense to wait for that? Here's the link to Scott's post: http://bit.ly/cZ1mDg

In the mean time, I'd like to cover advanced networking concepts, security, and more on the CLI.

The reason for concentrating on the VI3 version is that to upgrade to VCDX 4 will only require an update of your Design exam.

    Yes, interested.
Agree with others that CLI needs focus. networking & storage stuff.

Hey Cody, I'm interested as well. Already passed the Enterprise Admin Exam, so can be of some help on getting folks through that.
